Born in a family with a rich heritage in ceramic art in October 1992, Ge possesses a deep appreciation for ceramic culture and has developed her own insights into purple clay art. In 2012, she went to Nottingham Trent University in the United Kingdom to study sculptural art. After graduating, she returned to traditional purple clay craftsmanship and explored the combination of traditional and modern techniques in purple clay art. In 2013, she furthered her studies in the Summer Ceramic and Glass Class at the College of Fine Arts, Shanghai University, focusing on integrating traditional purple clay patterns with her major in modern glass art.

With a diligent and studious nature, as well as a profound understanding of purple clay, Ge has emerged as an outstanding figure among young purple clay artists. Under the strict and meticulous guidance of her father, Ge Jun, she has elevated her skills in purple clay craftsmanship. Incorporating her own creative concepts while inheriting tradition, her works are both concise and elegant, showcasing superb craftsmanship, meticulous material selection, and excellent practicality. By applying traditional and innovative techniques to her own creations, she has developed a distinctive and unique style in the art of teapot making.

Building on a solid foundation, her works "Lotus Whisper" and "Wuyue Charm" have respectively won the Gold and Silver Awards at the 17th China Arts and Crafts Expo's "Zhongyi Cup" Artwork Competition. In 2021, her work "Centennial Splendor" received the First Prize at the "Thousand Red Ships" National Tea Utensils Masters Exhibition. In 2022, her work "Graceful Posture" won the Gold Award at the "Purple Charm of Tao Capital, Shanghai Arts and Crafts Masters Exhibition." Additionally, her work "Jade Rabbit Presents Auspiciousness" is permanently housed in the Jingdezhen China Ceramic Museum, and her work "The Birth of the Universe" is part of the collection at the Nanhu Revolution Memorial Hall.

The heritage of purple clay art has been passed down through generations. Through direct communication and hands-on teaching, Ge inherited her father's legacy and embarked on her own artistic path in purple clay. She steadfastly follows in the footsteps of her predecessors while wholeheartedly passing on her purple clay skills. She also hopes to promote greater understanding, appreciation, and love for purple clay among more people, contributing to the further development of the purple clay art industry.
