Clay Style:Ben Shan Green Clay(Ben Shan Lv Ni)(本山绿泥)

Ben Shan Green Clay is found in the yellow dragon mountain layers along with the purple clay deposits. It is only a few centimeters thick and consists of minerals such as hydro-muscovite, kaolinite, quartz, and a small amount of iron oxide. Inside the mine, it appears milky white with a tinge of green. After 24 hours of exposure to air and moisture, it develops a greenish-yellow color. It has a flaky structure, fine and smooth texture, and when fired, it exhibits a light yellow-green color. The body is compact and even, with a pure hue and high firing temperature. It also features fine black dots scattered throughout and white snowflake-like particles in the interior, which are characteristic of Ben Shan Green Clay.

The Ben Shan Green Clay from Mine No. 4 is located at a depth of approximately -28 meters and is considered the most precious clay in the mine. It is distributed in a honeycomb-like pattern with pockets of clay. Inside the mine, the clay appears milky white with a tinge of green, and after 24 hours of exposure to air and moisture, it develops a greenish-yellow color.

Ben Shan Green Clay is a layer of fat in the purple clay deposits. The raw clay has a green color, but when fired, it generally turns yellow with a touch of green, presenting a cool color tone.
