He was born in Zhejiang in 1976, he was influenced by the rich cultural heritage of Zisha, which instilled in him a unique understanding of art. After graduating from high school in 1995, he was captivated by the purple clay culture of Yixing and sought to learn the art of purple clay craftsmanship. He became a student of Master Fan Zefeng, studying the creative techniques of purple clay art. Through diligent and devoted efforts during his studies, Tang quickly gained a deep understanding of purple clay art and continuously improved his craftsmanship, combining it with his appreciation for nature.
In 2009, he achieved outstanding results in the fully handmade teapot examination and was recognized as an Assistant Arts and Crafts Master at the national level. Tang's works strive for beauty and uniqueness, winning numerous awards and receiving high praise from purple clay enthusiasts.

- 2012: "Taihu Impression" won the Most Creative Design Award at the 2012 Innovation Gala China Innovative Design Selection.
- 2013: "Quiet Contemplation" won the gold award at the 4th Guangzhou Purple Clay Ceramic Art and Culture Festival "Tiangong Cup" Purple Clay Ceramic Works Competition.
- 2014: "Fragrance" was collected by the Hubei Provincial Museum, and "Memories Dui Teapot" won the gold award at the 1st Jiangsu Province Ceramic Art Works Exhibition Competition.
- 2015: "Memories Dui Teapot" received an Outstanding Award at the "China Ceramic Art Exhibition and the 10th National Ceramic Art Design and Innovation Competition."
