Sky-blue Mud is produced under the blue-gray purple mud. The appearance and texture of the mineral material are uniform and fine. It is purple-brown and slightly transparent red dense block, brittle and slightly hard. The content of white mica fragments is very small. The surface is shell-like textured and has white wax shape (it will form white dots after firing), and the cross-section is purple-black and slightly translucent red. Because the color of this raw ore is similar to the azure dyeing material, the predecessors used to call it "Sky-blue Mud". Therefore, "Sky-blue Mud" is not named after the color of firing.
