For several decades, Ge Jun has devoted himself to research, development, and design in the field of Zisha (purple clay). He pioneered the "color decoration technique," which has brought a breakthrough in Zisha art from traditional to modern. Some of his notable works include the Zisha door frame "Harvest of Five Grains" for the new conference building of the Beijing Great Hall of the People, the Zisha teapot "General" created to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Chinese People's Liberation Army, the collaborative creation of the Zisha teapot "Blessing Full of Divine Land" with 2008 members of the Chinese Calligraphers Association to celebrate the successful Beijing 2008 Olympic Games, and the designated gift Zisha teapot "Harmony Auspiciousness" designed for the 2nd World Buddhist Forum.

Ge Jun's works, such as "Golden Leopard," "Han Style," "Age of Civilization," and "General" have won 23 gold awards and have nearly 200 patented designs. Many of his works have been designated as international exchange gifts by the General Administration of Sport of China and collected by prestigious institutions such as the Palace Museum, the Museum of the Chinese People's Revolutionary Military History, the National Art Museum of China, the Ministry of Culture, and the Ziguangge in Zhongnanhai, as well as by numerous prominent individuals.

He has visited, exchanged, and lectured in more than 30 countries and regions in Asia, America, Australia, and Europe. He has been appointed as a guest professor by over 20 internationally renowned universities and institutions.

Notable Designs:

1995: Created a large-scale Zisha mural titled "Harvest of Five Grains" for the new conference building of the Beijing Great Hall of the People.

1997: Zisha artwork "Centennial Changes Welcoming the Return" designated as a gift by the General Administration of Civil Aviation of China.

1998: Created the world's largest Zisha teapot "Hundred Tigers" and recorded in the Shanghai Guinness Book of Records.

1999: Zisha artworks "Nine-Nine Becomes One," "Return," and "Harmony" designated as gifts by the Information Office of the State Council of China and collected by Mr. Edmund Ho Hau Wah, the Chief Executive of the Macao Special Administrative Region.

2001: Zisha teapot "Applying for the Olympics" designated as a gift by the General Administration of Sport of China.

2003: Zisha teapot "Han Style" selected as one of the "China's Top Ten Purple Clay Teapots."

2003: Created the world's largest Zisha teapot "Today's Flowers and Fruits Soar with Joy" for the Lianyungang Municipal People's Government and recorded in the Guinness World Records.

October 1999: "Golden Leopard" series won the Gold Award at the 4th China Folk Art Festival.

November 2000: "Golden Leopard" won the First Prize at the 6th China Art Festival.

November 2000: "New Voice" won the Gold Award at the 6th China Arts and Crafts Masterpieces Exhibition and the Gold Award at the 2nd China Arts and Crafts Excellent Works Selection.

November 2001: "Golden Leopard" participated in the 1st National Ceramic Art and Design Excellence Awards Exhibition.

October 2002: "Sunrise" won the Gold Award at the National Young and Middle-aged Ceramic Artists Collectible Fine Works Competition.

November 2002: "Joyful Sheep" won the Gold Award at the 4th China Arts and Crafts Masterpieces Exhibition and the Gold Award at the 4th China Arts and Crafts Excellent Works Selection.

October 2003: "Age of Civilization" won the Gold Award at the 1st China Ceramic Art Exhibition.

November 2003: "Ling Monkey Presents Auspiciousness" won the Gold Award at the 5th China Arts and Crafts Masterpieces Exhibition and the Gold Award at the 5th China Arts and Crafts Excellent Works Selection.

November 2003: "Han Style" won the Gold Award in the "China's Top Ten Purple Clay Teapots" selection.

April 2004: "The Unfading Sun" won the Gold Award in the 2nd "China's Top Ten Purple Clay Teapots" selection.

September 2004: "Song of Heaven" won the "Big Fu" Award at the China Taihu Lake Art Fair.

September 2004: "Great Auspiciousness" won the Gold Award at the 2nd China Wuxi Taihu Expo and the Fine Arts Exhibition of China Arts and Crafts.

November 2004: "General" won the Special Gold Award at the 6th China Arts and Crafts Masterpieces Expo.
